LGRIG® Grade 80 Clevis Shortening Clutch, also known as Clevis Chain Clutch, Clevis Chain Shortening Clutch.

The G80 Lockable Clevis Shortening Clutch enables chain sling length adjustment without compromising the original working load limit (WLL), featuring a positive-locking clevis mechanism for rapid connection to Grade 80 chains.

Forged from quenched and tempered alloy steel with green corrosion-resistant coating, each unit undergoes 2.5× WLL proof testing and carries permanent load ratings for operational safety.

Designed exclusively for top-fitting applications in construction, manufacturing, and logistics, its heat-treated construction maintains structural integrity during vertical shortening operations while prohibiting use in bottom-fitting, back-hooking, or reeving scenarios due to shear risk.
