Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel with durable finishes for enhanced corrosion resistance, all LGRIG® rigging hooks are designed with clear working load limits and strict quality standards. Whether you are securing cargo for transport, lifting heavy machinery, or rigging complex sling systems, LGRIG® rigging hooks deliver the strength, precision, and reliability that rigging professionals trust — in every lift, on every load.
Rigging hooks, whose head is the part to be connected to the sling, come in different shapes, such as Eye, Clevis, Swivel, etc. Eye hooks gain more flexibility in terms of movement and ergonomics. But eye hook is a permanent solution, if it is stretched, bent or even broken during use, the whole sling will have to be removed. This prevents the pin from falling out. The disadvantage is that it does not have the same flexibility and freedom of movement as the eye hook. The swivel is rotatable, allowing the rigger to be properly aligned with the hook when attached to the load, but please note that the swivel hook is not intended to be rotated under load. used to rotate under load.
Rigging hooks also come in a variety of hook shapes, such as grab hook, slip hook, cargo hook, and self-locking hook (these hooks are mainly Grade 80/Grade 100 hooks).
Please check if the hooks are worn beyond the worn table or specific size, if the throat or slot is 5% larger than the original opening, if there is a significant bend, and if the above situation occurs, please replace them in time.
All other repairs should be performed by the manufacturer or qualified person.
Check the throat opening of the rigging hooks, if the latch of the rigging hooks is not working or missing, repair or replace it promptly.
Replacement parts, such as the pin of the clevis hook, should be at least equivalent to the original manufacturer's specifications.
