LGRIG® Grade L Chain Short Link AS2321 Galvanised, also known as Grade L Anchor Chain.
Manufactured in Australia from Grade 30 low-carbon steel, Grade L chain complies with Australian Standard AS 2321 and is designed for a wide range of suspending, mooring, and fencing applications across industrial, agricultural, marine, hardware, and domestic sectors.
Available in various link sizes and finishes—including durable hot-dip galvanized or economical self-color options—this short-link chain offers easy handling, long service life, and high corrosion resistance.
While suitable for anchor and mooring uses, it is rated with a 5:1 design factor for lifting applications and now features an increased Maximum Working Load (MWL) based on a 4:1 design factor for fathom chain and mooring scenarios.
Test certificates are available upon request for both Grade L and Proof Coil chains.
