Galvanised Bruce/Claw Boat Anchor LG RIGGING®, also known as Claw Anchor, Bruce Anchor, Trefoil Anchor, Self-Aligning Anchor.

The galvanized Bruce/Claw anchor (also known as Trefoil, Trident, or Jet anchor) is one of the UK's most popular designs, renowned for its quick-setting capability, high holding power, and versatile performance across diverse seabeds including sand, mud, gravel, rock, coral, and weedy conditions. Cast in a single piece from high-grade steel and hot-dipped galvanized for maximum corrosion resistance and durability, its solid construction features no moving parts.

The anchor's three-claw design ensures self-righting and reliable 360-degree setting regardless of seabed orientation, maintaining hold even during wind shifts. Compact and easily stowed, it suits vessels ranging from yachts, motor cruisers, and dinghies to offshore rigs. While effective in soft-to-semi-hard bottoms, its holding power depends on appropriate weight sizing (available in 2kg, 3kg, 5kg, 7.5kg, 10kg, 15kg, 20kg, etc.), and it may struggle with very hard surfaces like clay. Ideal as a primary or throw-overboard anchor, its user-friendly deployment and retrieval make it an essential, cost-effective investment for safety-conscious boaters.
