LGRIG® Brake Lining Asbestos-Free Bremsband

LGRIG® Brake Lining Asbestos-Free Bremsband is a high-quality asbestos-free woven brake lining material designed for heavy-duty applications including mooring winches, anchor winches, cranes, and gantry systems.

Manufactured from yarns and brass wire, the woven structure is impregnated with special resins to provide excellent flexural strength and heat resistance.

Produced entirely in-house by a reputable factory and stocked globally, this material is trusted by leading European winch manufacturers for both new installations and as recommended spare parts.

It can be installed using copper rivets, bolts and nuts, or adhesive, depending on user preference, with a combination of mechanical fastening and bonding recommended for extreme heavy-duty use.

Available in custom thickness, width, and length, this multi-layer woven brake tape—based on glass, natural, and aramid fibers with high-temperature polymer impregnation—features a durable mesh structure that prevents delamination under braking stress.

Characterized by a high coefficient of friction, strong frictional performance, oil resistance, and high mechanical durability, it offers reliable long-term performance and can be mounted either by bolting or gluing.
