LGRIG® Marine Double Bollard GBT554-1996 Type B

Marine Double Bollard, also known as Double Bitt Boat Bollard.

The Type B marine double bollard, constructed from steel plate in compliance with GBT554-1996 standard, features a dual-horn design extending from a central cylinder to provide secure mooring points for ropes and cables.

Certified by major classification societies including CCS, ABS, BV, LR, NK and RINA, its technical specifications include: base height (h) values representing minimum dimensions for steel decks, requiring 15mm elevation above wooden deck surfaces; optional stainless steel cladding (grade 1Cr18Ni9Ti) for both Type A and B variants; manufacturing options permitting seamless steel pipes or welded plate construction for nominal diameters ≤500mm, with baffle installation available for units ≥250mm.

The bollard's engineering accounts for high-stress mooring operations while maintaining corrosion resistance and structural integrity through standardized manufacturing and installation protocols.
