LGRIG® Marine Double Bollard GBT554-1996 Type C

Marine Double Bollard, also known as Double Bitt Boat Bollard.

The GBT554-1996 marine bollard series comprises five distinct types—A, B (inserted bollard), C (simple bollard), D (single cross), and E (double cross)—each available in various nominal diameters and manufactured in full compliance with the national standard, holding approval from the China Classification Society.

Among these, the Type C double bollard is engineered for demanding marine operations such as ship mooring and towing, offering high strength through the use of cast steel or ductile iron to withstand harsh conditions including saltwater, temperature extremes, and heavy loads. Its two-horn design ensures secure and user-friendly rope handling, while its versatility accommodates various line sizes and vessel types.

As a cost-effective and low-maintenance anchoring solution with a long service life, the Type C bollard represents a durable and economically advantageous choice for port and vessel operators. Customized bollards can also be provided based on specific requirements.
